Directors and Officers (D&O) and Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) insurance for NCCED members

This program is designed to provide maximum benefits to NCCED members.

• Defense costs are provided with a duty to defend clause.
• Defense costs do not reduce policy limits.
• The program has full prior acts coverage, with no limit on the reporting period for former directors and officers (this means that the policy covers you for acts that have already occurred at the time the policy is instated, but have not yet been recognized and reported as claims).
• Coverage includes the entity, directors, officers, trustees, volunteers, employees and committee members.
• The policy includes an extension for marital estate (in some states spouses are included as named parties in lawsuits. The extension automatically includes coverage for such spouses). There is no insured vs. insured exclusion.

We believe that the policy endorsements in the program are among the best available in the insurance business. The price structure is fair, and competitive with policies that offer far less coverage.
